Monica Herndon

Monica Herndon is a video editor and producer at The Philadelphia Inquirer. Monica previously worked as a staff photojournalist at the Tampa Bay Times from September 2014 to October 2019, and as a photo intern at Star Tribune from June 2014 to August 2014. Monica also interned at The Baltimore Sun Media Group from May 2013 to July 2013, and was a photo editor/asst photo editor/staff photographer at The Miami Hurricane from September 2011 to May 2014.

Monica Herndon holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Journalism from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from the University of Miami. Monica is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in Remote Pilot Certificate (Drone License).

Monica Herndon reports to Danese Kenon, Managing Editor, Visuals. They work with Astrid Rodrigues - Lead Video Editor & Producer, Elizabeth Robertson - Photojournalist, and Lauren Schneiderman - Video Editor / Producer.
