Scott Lauber is a Phillies columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer. Scott previously worked as a Red Sox reporter for ESPN from March 2016 to April 2018, and as a Phillies beat writer for The News Journal Media Group from November 2005 to March 2010.

Lauber is responsible for coverage of spring training, approximately 110 home/road games, postseason, general managers’ meetings and winter meetings; breaking news; writing columns, analyses, profiles, features. Scott is also active on social media, with nearly 19,000 Twitter followers and a professional Facebook page. Lauber has been a voter for National Baseball Hall of Fame since 2015.

Scott Lauber graduated from Manalapan (N.J.) High School and then went on to Boston University where they earned their Bachelors in Journalism.

They work with Ed Barkowitz - Flyers Columnist, Bob Brookover - Phillies Columnist, and Jeff Mclane - Eagles Columnist. Their manager is Gary Potosky, Sports Editor.
