Eric Rochard

Eric Rochard is a Senior Research Scientist at INRAE, specializing in the ecology and conservation of diadromous fish, with a focus on sturgeons and shads in Europe. Previously, at Irstea, they managed the Estuarine Ecosystems and Diadromous Fish research unit and conducted research on the adaptability of these species to climate change. Their academic achievements include a PhD in Population Ecology and Biological Conservation from Université de Rennes I and ongoing education in Ecology at Université Paul Sabatier. Eric's work integrates the impacts of water quality and climate change on fish reproduction and conservation strategies.
