Hadi Quesneville currently serves as the Deputy Director for Open Science at INRAE, where responsibilities include data governance, FAIR data sharing, and promoting open science and innovation. Hadi also holds the position of Chief Data Officer at INRAE. Previously, Hadi led the Genome analysis team at URGI, focusing on the complexities of genomes induced by transposable elements and other repeats. Hadi's extensive experience includes roles as Scientific Manager of INRAE Plant Bioinformatic Facilities, Research Director, and Group Leader at Institut Jacques Monod, as well as academic positions including Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at various prestigious institutions. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and the ability to supervise research work in Bioinformatics from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
