Yui Watanabe has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2013 with Merlin Entertainments Japan, where they worked as a customer service representative. YUI then moved on to Japan Datacake in 2014, where they worked at the National Children's Center, providing counseling and support to children and their families. In 2015, Yui worked as a kindergarten assistant before joining Works Applications Co., Ltd. in 2017 as a summer intern, where they focused on creating interface models for consumer electronics stores.
In 2018, Yui completed a summer internship at Fujitsu, where they worked with a team to develop a business plan for the Japanese industry, specifically focusing on augmented reality technology. Yui then worked at Fablab Torino in 2019, where they gained experience in robotics and fabrication processes using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D printers, and laser cutters.
Yui joined FIT2YOU Group in 2020 as a junior backend developer, where they learned about software implementation using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Docker, and gained valuable experience in writing readable code and debugging. In 2021, Yui joined Connect, a startup company focused on addressing human resource shortages in the medical field, where they were responsible for system construction and management screen development using Ruby on Rails, Docker, and AWS. Currently, Yui works as a software developer at Inrecruiting, starting in 2022.
Yui Watanabe's education history includes the following:
- From 2021 to 2023, Yui Watanabe studied at Politecnico di Milano and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering.
- In 2019 and 2020, Yui Watanabe attended the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (SEI) and completed the SEI Inventor Autumn 2019 Edition program, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
