Manon Verbockhaven

Manon Verbockhaven is a PhD student at Inria since May 2021, focusing on the expressivity of deep neural networks under the guidance of Guillaume Charpiat, Isabelle Guyon, and Sylvain Chevallier. Prior to this, Manon gained experience at IBM as part of the Extreme Blue program, where a research project was defined to quantify interactions between machine learning and human decision-making, leading to a published paper. An internship as a project engineer at FABERNOVEL involved developing a natural language processing application to optimize decision-making in the Scrum model. Manon's academic background includes a Master of Research in Mathematics of Randomness from Université Paris-Saclay and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Statistics from ENSAE Paris, along with music studies at École Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot.
