Stephanie Hutson

Stephanie Hutson is an Economics PhD student at the University of California San Diego, focusing on environmental economics with a specific interest in market structure and the green energy transition. Previously, Stephanie worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to research in environmental and energy economics and industrial organization. Stephanie's experience also includes roles as Lead Software Engineer at Easy Day Sports, where a virtual leaderboard was developed for running events during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as Senior Software Engineer at Honor, a startup in the non-medical home care industry. Additional positions held include Backend Developer at Shotput, Financial Editor at S&P Capital IQ, and GIS Specialist at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
