Maureen Clerc has extensive experience in research and leadership within the field of computer vision and applied mathematics. Currently serving as the Director of the Sophia Antipolis Research Center and Senior Researcher at Inria since 2009, Maureen also holds the position of Deputy Head of Science at Inria Sophia Antipolis. Previous roles include Researcher at Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 2001 to 2009, a PostDoctoral position at Stanford University in 1999-2000 as part of the WaveLab development team focusing on statistics in computer vision, and a PhD student at Ecole Polytechnique from 1996 to 1999 specializing in locally dilated processes and their application to shape from texture.
