Maxime Sermesant is a Senior Research Scientist at INRIA since November 2005, specializing in Medical Image Analysis and Heart Modelling. In addition, Sermesant holds the position of Chair of AI & Biophysics at 3IA Côte d'Azur and serves as Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at inHEART, as well as Co-founder at Therapixel. Previous experience includes a Lectureship in Cardiovascular Modelling at King's College London from June 2003 to May 2010 and an Honorary Research Fellowship at University College of London from 2004 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Control, Signal and Image Processing from Université Côte d'Azur, where Sermesant is currently pursuing Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, along with a Master's degree in Mathematics, Vision, and Learning from Ecole normale supérieure and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from CentraleSupélec.
