Raphaël Raynaud

Raphaël Raynaud is a financial executive with extensive experience in public finance and auditing. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Financial and Property Affairs at Inria since November 2022, Raphaël oversees an institute budget of approximately €330 million and manages a team of about 90 agents across eight services. Previous roles include Expert de certification at the Cour des comptes, where Raphaël audited state accounts and consolidated financial statements amid significant national crises, and Chargé de mission Affaires financières at the Commission de régulation de l'énergie, providing financial oversight and expertise on tariff regulations. A former manager at KPMG France, Raphaël directed audits for a range of entities and has a solid foundation in management studies, holding multiple degrees including a Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable and a Master of Science in Accounting & Finance from Aston Business School.
