Roger Pissard-Gibollet

Roger Pissard-Gibollet is a seasoned professional in the field of robotics and engineering, currently serving as a Research Engineer at Inria since March 2019. Inria involvement includes contributions to the STEEP team on the urbansprawl project, the SPADES team in collaboration with Orange on cloud configuration management, and occasional support for the CAMIN team on movement assistance projects. With a robust background, Roger has held senior consulting roles, notably as a Robotics Expert in the ExoMars ESA project, and has co-founded innovative start-ups such as mars:hello! and Athys. Previous roles at Inria involved leading projects related to IoT and rehabilitation technologies, while early career experience included research in underwater robotics at ECA Group during PhD studies in robotics at Mines Paris - PSL. Educational credentials encompass a PhD in robotics, an engineer's degree from Université Côte d'Azur, and a technical degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Toulon.
