Timothée Darcet

Timothée Darcet is a PhD student currently at Meta and Inria, with prior experience as a Research Intern at Facebook AI and LIX - Laboratoire d'informatique de l'École polytechnique. Timothée's research focuses on the stability of functional maps used in deformable shape matching. As President of Binet Réseau, Timothée managed online services and tech support for over 1,000 students, while also acquiring skills in Linux administration and web development. Timothée served as Project Manager at IonSat, leading a team in designing and launching a satellite with a budget of €1.2 million and presenting at major aerospace events. Experience at Cisco as a Machine Learning DevOps intern involved optimizing workflows for real-time object detection, contributing to skills in machine learning operations. Earlier, Timothée led a team of first responders with Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris, gaining valuable leadership and crisis management skills. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning from ENS Paris-Saclay and an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from École Polytechnique.
