Ahmed Darrat

Ahmed Darrat has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ahmed currently works at INRIX as the Group Product and General Manager for SaaS Products. Prior to this, Ahmed worked as the General Manager for Parking and Curbside Products at INRIX. Before joining INRIX, they worked at Cityfi as a Senior Principal for three years. Ahmed also held the position of Associate Director of ITS at Transpo Group for a brief period of time. Ahmed has experience in the public sector as well, working as a Transportation Policy Advisor for the Office of Mayor Jenny A. Durkan. Ahmed began their career at the Seattle Department of Transportation, where they held various roles including Signal Operations Manager, Project Delivery and Field Operations Manager, Traffic Signal Shop Manager, and Senior Civil Engineer. Additionally, they served as the RSJ Change Team Chair during their time at the Seattle Department of Transportation. Ahmed also worked as an Independent Consultant at Transportation Solutions, Inc. and as an Assistant Engineer at Howell Engineer & Co.

Ahmed Darrat obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between the years 2003 and 2006. In 2011, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the Washington State Board of Professional Engineers.
