Emmet Townsend

Emmet Townsend is currently the VP Engineering at Inrupt, Inc. Prior to this role, Emmet served as the SVP Engineering and Transformation Director at Vocalink, a Mastercard company. With a background in various technology-related positions at companies such as BBC, Dun and Bradstreet Business Information Systems, and Misys, Emmet has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field. Having started their career as a Software Engineer at Deecal International, Emmet's educational background includes a MSc in Computing and Hypermedia from Dublin City University and a degree in Applied Computing, Computers, and Programming from Waterford Institute of Technology.
