Ashley U. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ashley started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of South Florida and conducted research on chemotherapy agents for ovarian carcinoma cells. Ashley then worked as an Intramural Research Trainee at The National Institutes of Health, where they collected data on the efficacy of a chemotherapy drug on cancer cell lines.

Ashley later served as a Tour Guide at Coppertail Brewing Co, providing instructional tours on brewing processes and microbiology. Ashley then transitioned to the cannabis industry, working as a Patient Consultant at VidaCann, where they communicated medical information to patients and facilitated communication between patients, doctors, and regulators.

Ashley went on to join Green Thumb Industries (GTI) as a Shift Supervisor, ensuring regulatory compliance and mentoring new team members. In their most recent role at Analytical Resource Laboratories, LLC, Ashley worked as a Quality Lead - Cannabis Regulatory Specialist, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and overseeing quality improvements.

Later on, between 2019 and 2021, Ashley pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
