Timothy Galfin has a wealth of experience in the life sciences. Timothy began their career in 2009 as a Life Science Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine. Timothy then went on to pursue a graduate degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2011. In 2013, they joined Circuit Therapeutics as a Senior Research Associate, where they managed the internal viral and molecular biology core, oversaw molecular biology projects, and produced and purified Adeno-associated virus for internal preclinical research. In 2017, they joined Coda Biotherapeutics (formerly Switch Bio) as a Senior Research Associate, Molecular Biology, where they coordinated ordering of equipment, consumables, and reagents, and facilities improvements to create functional molecular biology and tissue culture labs. Timothy also handled molecular biology projects, including vector design and production for AAV vectors, expression constructs, and mutagenesis libraries. In 2018, they joined UNITY Biotechnology as an Associate Scientist. Timothy is currently employed at Inscopix, Inc. as a Software Engineer.

Timothy Galfin attended the University of Oregon from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Timothy then attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2013, studying Neuroscience.
