Richard Henfrey

Richard Henfrey has over 35 years of work experience in the life sciences industry. Richard is currently working as an Account Executive for Inscripta, Inc. in the United Kingdom and Benelux region. Prior to this role, they worked at 10X Genomics as a District Sales Manager from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were a Sales Manager at BECTON, DICKINSON U.K. LIMITED from 2016 to 2017. Richard also held the position of Associate Director for the Global Strategic Business Team NGS EMEA at QIAGEN from 2013 to 2016. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Illumina Ltd. as an Associate Director of Marketing for Europe. Earlier in their career, they served as a Marketing Manager at Applied Biosystems from 2003 to 2007, a Client Program Manager at Celera Genomics from 2000 to 2003, a Technical Support Manager Europe at Affymetrix from 1998 to 2000, and a Field Applications Specialist at Pharmacia Biotech from 1989 to 1992. Richard started their career at Applied Biosystems as a Product Manager from 1985 to 1989.

Richard Henfrey attended Ashby Grammar School from 1980 to 1984. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Hertfordshire in 1984 and graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology in 1988.
