Daniel Landau PhD is a seasoned professional in the fields of virtual reality and media, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of AVRIS Technologies since March 2021, while concurrently holding the position of Lead Media & Technology at INSEAD XR since December 2018. Previous roles include PhD Researcher at Aalto University from September 2016 to December 2020, Chief Content Officer at Actiview.io from July 2017 to June 2020, Visiting Lecturer at UCLA Arts for an advanced course on virtual reality in early 2017, and Creative Director at Inception VR from April 2016 to May 2017. Landau also led the Art & Media Studies department at Hamidrasha Faculty of the Arts, Beit Berl College between September 2011 and June 2016, and co-founded the BZAZ Foundation, an innovative art and media collective, in 1999. Daniel Landau holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Aalto University, specializing in Virtual Reality and Techno Self, as well as a Master's degree in Music Composition and New Media from the Koninklijk Conservatorium.
