Stefanie Marti

Stefanie Marti is a highly experienced researcher and data scientist with a focus on machine learning and its application in healthcare. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Insel Gruppe since April 2022, Stefanie previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at the Swiss Federal Administration from November 2020 to March 2022 and worked as a Data Scientist at Insel Gruppe from November 2018 to October 2020. At Insel Data Science Center, Stefanie collaborated with clinicians to enhance patient safety and clinical research by integrating diverse data sources to monitor treatment risks and outcomes. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role at the Centre for Genomic Regulation from April 2015 to October 2018, where the focus was on machine learning architectures, and a PhD, alongside teaching responsibilities, at the University of Bern from November 2010 to September 2014. Educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Theoretical Physics and a BSc in Physics, Mathematics, and History and Philosophy of Science, all from the University of Bern.
