Jagadeesh Bayry

Jagadeesh Bayry is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad, specializing in Biological Sciences and Engineering. They graduated with a BVSc in Veterinary Medicine from Bengaluru in 1996 and obtained an MVSc in Veterinary Virology and Immunology from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute in 1999, followed by a PhD in Immunology from Sorbonne University in 2003. After completing post-doctoral research at the University of Oxford, Jagadeesh joined INSERM in Paris, where they advanced to Director of Research by 2018. With an h-index of 73 and over 300 published articles, Jagadeesh has made significant contributions to fundamental immunology, immunotherapy, and host-pathogen interaction. They have been involved in editorial roles for various journals and have edited multiple books published by Springer.
