Maggie Barnes

Maggie Barnes is the Email Marketing Manager at Inside Higher Ed. Maggie has over five years of experience in marketing, specifically in email marketing, digital ad campaigns, print, and direct mail. Maggie has a focus on SHRM certification and recertification, and has executed various strategies through concept creation, audience segmentation, scheduling, copywriting, budget management, and working closely with graphic designers, copy editors, the social media team, and digital ad agencies. Maggie has also co-produced SHRM's Honest HR podcast, and led the marketing plans ahead of its relaunch in 2020.

They work with Jessica Chen - Digital Marketing Coordinator, Dana Miller - Director of Marketing. Maggie Barnes reports to Lauren Medway, SVP of Marketing & Digital Solutions.
