Katie Connell

Katie Connell is an experienced recruitment specialist and coordinator at 9 Story Media Group since April 2022. Concurrently, Connell serves as a Professor of Humanities at The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music, teaching a range of courses since September 2016. Connell also works as a film programmer at Inside Out and as a staff writer for Another Gaze: A Feminist Film, contributing as a film critic. A freelance journalist, Connell maintains a full portfolio on a personal website. Previous roles include board member at Pleasure Dome, teaching assistant at York University and OCAD University, and communications and marketing program assistant at Not Far From The Tree. Connell holds a Master of Arts from OCAD University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of King's College.
