John Trauth

John Trauth has more than 25 years of demonstrated success in driving market expansion, revenue growth, and operational excellence at large established companies such as BEA, Oracle, IBM, and Tektronix, as well as smaller companies such as Cybertap, QMS, Enterworks, and Merlin International. Prior to joining Bricata, John was the President at Cybertap. When John joined Cybertap it was a startup company with virtually no sales pipeline. Within 18 months, John doubled the enterprise value of the company, which was eventually sold to IBM.

While serving as President at Merlin International, John was responsible for setting the company’s go-to-market strategy while managing their Technology Systems and Enterprise Solutions Divisions. These groups were comprised of professionals focusing on Cyber Security, Business Process Management, DR/COOP, Data Center Infrastructure, SOA, and Virtualization. During his tenure as an executive and partner at Merlin, he grew revenues by 18,750% over a nine-year period. Merlin was the recipient of many awards including #2 on Inc 500 (2005), #40 on Inc 500 (2006), Washington Technology Fast 50 #1 (2005), Washington Technology Fast 50 #1 (2006), and SBA Small Business of the Year (2005).
