Kathleen Holmes

Ms. Kathleen Holmes is a principal in Holmes Costin & Marcus PLLC. Since the early 1990s, Ms. Holmes has provided legal and business consulting services to technology firms, with an emphasis on the areas of intellectual property protection and commercial litigation. She is a licensed attorney in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

From 2006 until 2010, Ms. Holmes was a partner with the law firm of Williams Mullen. She provided legal counseling and representation on intellectual property issues, business and labor disputes, and government enforcement actions. From 1994 until 2000, Ms. Holmes was an associate with the law firm of Richards McGettigan Reilly & West, P.C., and a partner with the firm from 2000 until 2006, eventually serving as president of the firm. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Holmes served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema, United States District Judge, Eastern District of Virginia (1993-4), and to the Honorable Hugh J. Dolan, Administrative Law Judge, U.S. Department of Commerce.
