Amélie Consigny-Bezemer

Amélie Consigny-Bezemer has a wealth of experience in the finance and business development industries. Amélie began their career in 2006 as a Traineeship Financial Management at Club Med, Ixtapa, where they rotated through all relevant departments to gain a comprehensive view of daily business transactions and assisted the CFO in producing analysis for management reporting and preparing budgets and plans. In 2008, they joined Deloitte as a Consultant Capital Markets, performing strategic and financial reviews of international firms, preparing financial analysis and modelling, and supporting firms in assessing and improving intra-company processes. In 2011, they joined Aegon as a Senior Business Controller, Financial & Capital Strategy, setting up Business Control as a new function across the Group. Amélie also held the role of Senior Associate Strategy and M&A, Group Business Development, participating in strategic planning process and managing projects at a global and local level. In 2017, they became Chief of staff to the CEO of Aegon Continental Europe (ACE), steering strategic initiatives in insurance/banking/asset management and managing the Board office & strategy across the region. In 2018, they held a Business Development Manager role at Knab (assignment within Aegon role). In 2019, they joined Stage Entertainment as Business Development Manager, driving the International expansion of Stage Entertainment, preparing business cases & contracts and building relationships with local and international stakeholders. Currently, they are the Head of Insurance & Founding Team at Insify.

Amélie Consigny-Bezemer obtained their MSc in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2010 with a field of study of Cum Laude. Amélie has also obtained two additional certifications, a Growth Hacking Course from Growth Tribe Academy in December 2018, and an Analytics for Leaders certificate from Deloitte in November 2018.
