Annie Youngblood

Annie Youngblood is a predoctoral fellow at the UMN School of Public Health, focusing on research related to Eating and Activity for Community Health as part of a NIH T32 Training Grant funded position. Annie has experience in various roles, including bartender at Insight Brewing Company and teaching assistant for courses on Epidemiologic Methods and Ethics in Public Health at the University of Minnesota. Previous positions include Emergency Data Relief Intern at broadstreet + covid-19 data project, Americorps VISTA at Urban Strategies, and several roles at the University of St. Thomas, such as orientation leader and manager of the swim and dive team. Annie held a shift supervisor position at Caribou Coffee and developed cases for the Dispute Resolution Center. Annie's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Epidemiology and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota, along with credentials from the University of St. Thomas and The School for Field Studies.
