Angela Tran

Angela Tran is a General Partner at Version One Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in mission-driven founders across North America. In addition to their role at Version One, Angela serves as the NextGen Advisory Board Chair and Trustee at the Computer History Museum, where Angela leads growth initiatives, and co-instructs a leadership course at the University of Toronto. Angela is also an Advisor and Partner at Insight Data Science, which helps PhD graduates transition to industry careers, and has been an Associate at the Creative Destruction Lab, mentoring health-tech teams since its inception. Previously, Angela contributed as a Board Member at The C100, fostering a community for Canadian tech entrepreneurs. Academically, Angela holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Toronto, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, and has participated in summer research at Åbo Akademi University.
