Daniel Bernardes

Daniel Bernardes is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer at BetterUp since May 2019, with a rich background in data science and consulting. As a Technical Advisor at Insight Data Science, Daniel has been mentoring fellows on data science projects since August 2018. Previously, as a Senior Consultant/Data Scientist at eleven | strategy & management, Daniel led the development of a machine learning model for a French retail bank. Daniel's early career includes a Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a web application was created for improving body language in presentations, and a research fellowship at Université Paris 13, focusing on machine learning algorithms for recommendation systems. Daniel earned a PhD in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University and holds advanced degrees from École Polytechnique and USP in Applied Mathematics.
