Michelle Crawley

Michelle Crawley is an experienced professional in program management and policy analysis, currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at SSHRC-CRSH since January 2015. At SSHRC, responsibilities include providing strategic advice on program planning and policy, focusing on equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as leading initiatives to support Indigenous graduate student applicants. Previous roles involve positions at the International Development Research Centre, where project management spanned multiple international fellows, and Universities Canada, where contributions to policy advocacy in higher education were significant. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Development Studies from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and French from Niagara University.
