Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jeff started their career at Coherent as a Scientist from 2000 to 2003. Jeff then joined Guardian Industries as an Engineer/Technical Manager, where they managed process engineering and equipment maintenance groups from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they worked at Acree Technlogies Inc. as a Senior Scientist, serving as a Principal Investigator in the development of advanced thin film materials, processes, and equipment from 2007 to 2014. During this time, they led government and private sector funded development projects, handling technical effort, customer interaction, documentation, and project management responsibilities. From 2014 to 2017, Jeff worked at Vision-Ease Lens as an R&D Manager for PVD Coatings and eventually became the Director of Research and Development. Most recently, in 2021, they held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Hoya Vision Care.

From 1988 to 1994, Jeff Brown attended McMaster University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Physics.
