Jeff Lieberman

Jeff Lieberman has been at Insight since its earliest days and has been an active investor in both SaaS software and consumer internet companies. Jeff is focused on partnering with great entrepreneurs across the globe and helping them scale their businesses. He has led or co-led nearly fifty deals across four continents since joining Insight in 1998.

Jeff has led the successful exits of multiple internet and software companies. Notable among these are Qualtrics (acquired by SAP), Moat (acquired by Oracle), Cvent (IPO), Shutterstock (IPO), Trivago (acquired by Expedia), Daily Deal (acquired by Google), Ecova (acquired by GDF Suez), GetPaid (acquired by SunGard Systems), Hautelook (acquired by Nordstrom), HealthcareSource (acquired by Francisco Partners), Uprinting (acquired by HIG), Procuri (acquired by Ariba), TicketMonster (acquired by Living Social), and Website Pros (IPO).

Jeff currently serves on the board or oversees Insight's investments in DeliveryHero (IPO), HelloFresh (IPO), Hootsuite, GainSight, Mimecast (IPO), OpenEnglish, SiftScience and Udemy. Jeff has received numerous industry awards, including being selected by AlwaysOn as a Venture Capital 100 winner and by Forbes as a member of the Midas List.

Prior to Insight, Jeff was a Consultant at McKinsey and Co. Jeff received dual degrees in systems engineering and finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Moore School of Engineering and Wharton School of Business, respectively, where he graduated with honors.

Jeff lives in NYC with his wife, two children, and their Havanese George.
