Michael Shephard

He joined Insight in 2016 and have since partnered with dozens of software and technology ScaleUps across five continents. His focus is primarily on application software in Europe and North America, with a particular emphasis on ERP/supply chain, collaboration/productivity, Industry 4.0, and product-led SaaS. Fundamentally, he believe great businesses and the strongest partnerships come down to people and relationships. Deep connections with the leaders in his portfolio companies are what He pride himself on above all else. Prior to joining Insight, he worked in fintech at ICapital Network and mid-market Private Equity at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. He graduated cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Venture Finance and Information Systems.
