Samer Yousif

Samer Yousif is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Associate at Insight Partners, where co-leadership of the 20/20 Vision Capital Fund focuses on investing in emerging, early-stage venture funds led by diverse General Partners. Previously, Samer held multiple roles at BLCK VC, including Interim CEO and Chief Program Officer, overseeing strategic initiatives and launching critical reports on the Black venture ecosystem. As a co-founder of the Investors of Color Network, Samer contributed to closing the racial funding gap in startup capital. Additional experience includes leadership roles in various organizations, such as the Angel Capital Association and VentureWell, managing several impactful programs, and conducting extensive research projects with the World Bank Group and Ashoka. Samer Yousif holds a Master's degree in Global Policy from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
