David Gaughan

David Gaughan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales operations and geology. Currently serving as Sales Operations Demand Manager at Insights since July 2016, David specializes in optimizing global sales processes with a focus on demand management. Previous roles at Insights include New Business Operations Lead and Business Manager for Global Sales Excellence, where strategic planning and process improvement were key responsibilities. Prior to Insights, David worked as a Mine Geologist at Cleveland-Cliffs, overseeing a team and managing significant mining operations, and as a Graduate Mine Geologist at Consolidated Minerals, working on a high-grade Chromite deposit. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Glasgow.
