Bret Gregory

Bret Gregory is an accomplished software engineering executive with extensive experience in leading technical teams and driving product development across various companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at insightsoftware since February 2021, Bret previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at LexisNexis Legal, where responsibilities included overseeing a $35M+ product and managing a team of over 70 professionals. Bret's career also features roles as Manager of Product Development at LexisNexis, Manager of Architecture & Software Engineering at Teradata Applications, and Software Architect at Teradata, where notable achievements included architectural reform and successful cloud migration strategies. An early career that spanned multiple roles in software development provided foundational skills leading to significant leadership recognitions. Bret holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Labor Industrial Relations from Penn State University.
