Daniel Elliott

Daniel Elliott has a diverse work experience in the financial and risk management sectors. Daniel currently serves as the Head of Risk - Superannuation at Insignia Financial. Prior to this, Daniel worked at AMP, where they held multiple roles including Head of Risk and Compliance, Chief Risk Officer, Superannuation Trustee, and ERM Business Partner, Wealth and Insurance. Daniel also has experience working at PwC as an Associate Director/Senior Manager in Financial and Risk Assurance, and as a Senior Associate in Financial Assurance. Daniel began their career with an internship at HM Treasury and an accounting internship at 3663 (HM Ministry of Defense division).

Daniel Elliott has a diverse education history. In 2007 to 2008, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd where they pursued an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) with a focus on Management Consulting and Strategy. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, Daniel also attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they completed a BSc (Hons) degree in ECON Accounting & Management.

Before their university studies, Daniel attended Queen Mary College from 2002 to 2004 and obtained A Levels in Business Studies, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Lastly, from 1997 to 2002, Daniel attended Harriet Costello, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Daniel has achieved several certifications. In 2012, they obtained the Accredited Qualified Auditor (AQA) certification from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). At the same time, they also earned the Chartered Accountant (ACA) designation from ICAEW. Most recently, in September 2022, Daniel obtained the RG146 Superannuation certification from the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).
