Bobby Leitmann

Bobby Leitmann possesses extensive experience in both scientific research and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Scientist I at insitro since September 2019, previous positions include Microscopy Associate Scientist II and III. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Georgia College of Engineering, focusing on cell therapy biomanufacturing. Bobby's background in operations and customer service is highlighted by a tenure as Student Supervisor and Bus Operator for University of Georgia Campus Transit. Additionally, Bobby has demonstrated leadership as President of the Ballroom Dance Club and the National Society of Black Engineers, with a strong commitment to community-building and collaboration. Academic training culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Georgia.
