Justin Lee

Justin Lee currently serves as the Head of Imaging Machine Learning at insitro and is the owner of the website 1337arts, which highlights various side projects and has received recognition from major media outlets such as CNN and Wired. Prior to this, Justin held multiple roles at PathAI, including Senior Director and Director of Machine Learning and Imaging. Experience also includes consulting for Genentech's Clinical Imaging Group and working as a co-founder of Napwell, where Justin developed a sleep mask product. Justin's academic background features a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from MIT, complemented by a MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Physics and Biology. Research expertise encompasses areas like computational imaging and deep learning, with significant contributions during time spent at the MIT 3D Optical Systems Group and Massachusetts General Hospital.
