Travis Beck

Travis Beck is an accomplished associate scientist currently working at insitro, specializing in biobanking since August 2023. Previously, Travis held the title of associate scientist II at the same organization. Travis has solid research experience from the University of Texas at Austin, serving as a research assistant in the Ghosh Lab, where CRISPR-based gene editing techniques were applied to cystic fibrosis mutations and a machine learning model was built to predict mRNA delivery. During an internship at UPSIDE Foods, Travis contributed to the identification and evaluation of cell lines for cultivated meat production and presented complex data to diverse audiences. Earlier involvement with the UT COVID-19 Modeling Consortium provided insights into pandemic trends through serological study analysis and vaccine impact research. Travis holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
