Varun Kanwar

Varun Kanwar is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles at innovative companies. Currently, Varun serves as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at insitro, having progressed through positions such as Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer since 2021. Prior experience includes four years at Strateos as a Backend Software Engineer and two years at Counsyl in various engineering roles, including Automation Engineer. Varun also co-founded Phoenix VR, where the development of motion-tracked gloves for virtual reality applications earned recognition with a $15,000 Innovative Startup Award. Varun's technical foundation was established at Harvey Mudd College, where a Bachelor of Science in Engineering was obtained.
