Gretchen Thomsen

Gretchen Thomsen possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of Gene Therapy at Insmed Incorporated. Previously, Gretchen held the position of Principal Scientist at a stealth mode company and at AveXis, Inc. Additionally, Gretchen co-founded both Motus Biosciences and AlgaeneX, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Academically, Gretchen completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from UCLA and participated in the CSMC Postdoctoral Scientist Program.
