Shivani S.

Shivani S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shivani started their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Woodridge Pharmacy and went on to work in various other healthcare settings such as Korle Bu Pharmacy, Community Health, Target, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Advocate Christ Medical Center. In 2017, they transitioned to the field of medical communications and joined ECIR Medical Communications as a Scientific Communications/Medical Affairs Fellow. Shivani then progressed to roles such as Scientific Manager and Scientific Strategic Director. In 2019, Shivani joined Optinose as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist and later became an Associate Director in Clinical Research & Medical Affairs. Their most recent position is at Insmed Incorporated, where they hold the title of Associate Director, Clinical Research Scientist, starting in 2023.

Shivani S. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2008 to 2012. Shivani then pursued a Doctorate of Pharmacy at the same institution from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Shivani obtained various certifications including APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery from the American Pharmacists Association in January 2016, Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services Certified Application Counselor from the Medicare & Medicaid Advisory Group in March 2015, and CPR & AED Certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in January 2015. In March 2013, they became a Registered Licensed Student Pharmacist in the State of Illinois. Prior to that, Shivani obtained their CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician certification in 2012 and became a Registered Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois in March 2007.
