Tapan Patel

Tapan Patel is an experienced quality assurance professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Associate Director of QA GMP at Insmed Incorporated since May 2018, Tapan oversees manufacturing operations in compliance with global regulatory requirements. Previous roles include Lead Quality Specialist and QA Head at Baxalta, where Tapan developed and implemented the quality system for compliance with Health Canada regulations, as well as positions at Baxter International and CIBA Vision, focusing on quality management, compliance, and operational efficiency. Tapan's educational background includes a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical QA & QC from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, and a Lead Quality Auditor Certification from The British Standards Institution.
