Laurent Coulot

Laurent Coulot is the CEO and Co-Founder of Insolight. Prior to their current role, they worked as an Application Engineer for MELEXIS from January 2013 to January 2016. In this role, they supported customers in developing their automotive, industrial or consumer applications all over the world. Laurent also participated in the development of the next product generations, based on market analysis and technology expertise. During their time at MELEXIS, Laurent developed technical skills in finite element simulations (COMSOL), sensors programming (PTC), PCB design, and power electronics.

Before joining MELEXIS, Laurent worked as a Master Thesis Student at Logitech from February 2012 to September 2012. For their master project, they conducted a complete study of photovoltaic solar cells for powering consumer electronic products in indoor conditions.

Laurent began their professional career as a Supply Chain Management Intern at Rolex from August 2011 to January 2012. Laurent then served as a Research Intern at Biocartis from February 2011 to July 2011.

Laurent Coulot has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Micro and Nanosystems from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Laurent was an Erasmus student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Laurent has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microengineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Laurent attended high school at Institut Florimont and achieved a Swiss federal maturity.
