Richard Fuentes

Richard Fuentes is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Providence since December 2024. With a strong commitment to community health, Richard is a Board Member of Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) and actively engages in harm reduction efforts as a Ground Control Member for Insomniac Events and a Sanctuary Sitter for RGX Medical. Richard's experience includes working as a TMS Technician at Paxina Health, a Behavioral Health Specialist at Aurora San Diego, and prior roles as a Chapter Leader for SSDP, Clinical Research Technician at UC San Diego Health, Research Intern at the Center for Research on Addiction and Brain Health, and Medical Intern at Clinica Mi Pueblo- Anaheim. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Diego State University, encompassing Biology, Communications, and Psychology, and a high school diploma from Villa Park High School.
