Joel Gabriel has accumulated diverse work experience throughout their career. Starting in 2014, they worked as a laborer at Impression Concreting Services, performing general laboring tasks to save up for their studies. In 2016, they took on the role of a teaching assistant at Code Camp, helping children understand basic programming concepts. Additionally, they worked as a private tutor, teaching beginners about Unity3D and the fundamentals of C#.
In 2017, Joel became a casual programming teacher at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), where they designed lesson plans and delivered programming content to students. In the same year, they also joined Impression Concreting Services as a concretor, specializing in footpaths, driveways, and bridge pre-casts.
Joel then founded their own company, Introverted Pixel, in 2018, where they assumed the role of founder and lead developer. During this time, they also joined Inspace XR as a software developer, focusing on developing VR software for architects. Joel transitioned to the role of Senior Software Developer, responsible for coding, debugging, and maintaining VR/AR software.
Continuing their journey with Inspace, Joel became a full-stack developer, working on real-time web-apps and 3D rendering for the web. Joel then progressed to the position of Senior Full Stack Developer, leading the development of platforms and pipelines.
Currently, Joel serves as the Lead Developer at Inspace. Joel'sprimary responsibilities include driving the development of cutting-edge software solutions, overseeing full-stack development, database design, and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
Outside of their professional work, Joel has also engaged in side projects. In 2023, they embarked on a side project as a Udemy course creator.
Joel Gabriel completed their Advanced Diploma of Professional Games Development - Programming at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) RTO 88021 from 2016 to 2018. Joel'sfield of study was focused on Computer Games and Programming Skills. In addition, Joel obtained a certification in "Microfrontends with React: A Complete Developer's Guide" from Udemy: Online Courses in June 2022.
