Justis Nguyen

Justis Nguyen has a diverse work experience. They started their career as an Academic Tutor at CS Education in 2016, where they managed classes of 1-30 students and effectively communicated complex concepts to a wide age range. They also worked as a Research and Development Project Coordinator at CS Education, overseeing the creation of test papers for over 20 branches of the enterprise.

In 2018, Justis became a Programs Coordinator at Real Skills Education, where they organized workshops for university students on topics like LinkedIn, resumes, and presentation skills. They also facilitated technical workshops on CAD, Blockchain, and data analytics. In the same company, they later became a Marketing Manager and then a Creative Director, playing a key role in increasing program applicants and generating leads through marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.

Justis also had a role as a Web UX/UI Designer at UNSW, where they worked on website design. They later became a UNSW Hero Program Ambassador, collaborating with a diverse team to develop innovative solutions aligning with the university's strategic plan.

They then joined Inspace as an Intern in 2020, gaining valuable experience in product design. They continued their journey at Inspace as an Associate Product Designer (UX/UI) and then as a Product Designer, showcasing their skills in user experience and interface design.

Before joining Inspace, Justis worked as a Business/Marketing Consultant at Red Ape, where they prioritized revenue increase for struggling businesses during the pandemic. They implemented CRM and sales pipeline systems, strategized brand awareness campaigns, and conducted marketing strategy and competitor audits.

Throughout their work experience, Justis demonstrated adaptability, effective management skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute to their respective roles.

Justis Nguyen completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Architecture from UNSW, from 2017 to 2021. In 2020 and 2021, while studying at UNSW, Justis also pursued a field of study in UX Design at The Interaction Design Foundation. Prior to attending UNSW, Justis attended Sydney Boys High School from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, Justis has obtained several certifications, including "Critical Roles Consultants Play (and the Skills You Need to Fill Them)" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "How To Design For Augmented and Virtual Reality" from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2020, "Information Visualisation: Getting Dashboards Right" from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2020, "Introduction to Digital Twins" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Learning Adobe XD" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Become A UX Designer From Scratch" from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2020, "Design Thinking: The Beginner's Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2020, "IoT Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in August 2020, "User Experience: The Beginner's Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2020, and "How To Create A UX Portfolio" from The Interaction Design Foundation in July 2020.
