Derek Laws

Derek Laws is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate real estate and facilities management. Currently serving as Vice President of Workplace & Business Services at Insperity since June 2006, Derek oversees strategic and operational functions related to corporate real estate, business continuity, and business operations. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Director of Global Real Estate at BMC Software from June 1999 to May 2006, managing corporate real estate functions across 37 countries. Earlier experience includes serving as Asset Portfolio Manager at ExxonMobil, providing asset management services for the company's facilities in the Western United States. Derek holds a Master of Legal Studies in Real Estate & Construction Law, Policy & Management from Texas A&M University School of Law, an MBA in Finance from Texas Tech University, and a BBA in Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston.
