Jeffrey Ackerson

Jeffrey Ackerson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services and health benefits sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Health & Benefits Operations at Inspira Financial since October 2025, Ackerson previously held significant leadership roles at WEX, where responsibilities included overseeing a large client service team and managing a substantial portfolio, as well as leading global service and operations initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings. Ackerson's expertise also includes enhancing partner experiences at WEX and driving customer-focused growth at OptumHealth. With a background as Chief Operating Officer at Stanton Group, Inc./Acclaim Benefits, Ackerson successfully transformed a financially struggling operation and has a solid foundation in enrollment and billing management from earlier roles. Ackerson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from St. Cloud State University.
