David Lowther

David Lowther, MD, serves as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Inspira Health Network since December 2019. With prior experience as a physician at 21st Century Oncology and Shields Health Care Group, and as Medical Director at Virtua Fox Chase Cancer Center, where a new radiation oncology joint venture was established, David has a robust background in radiation oncology leadership. As President of Southeastern Radiotherapy Specialists, David pioneered outpatient Prostate HDR brachytherapy, significantly improving patient throughput and care quality. Formerly, as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at El Camino Hospital, David increased patient volume dramatically while serving on various strategic committees and receiving recognition as a Top Doctor in Silicon Valley from 2004 to 2006. David holds an MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Biology from La Salle University.
